Seryn Analytics for Things is built on a single principle: your data is yours. This page explains what we collect on seryn.dev and in the Seryn app.

Website (seryn.dev)

The waitlist form stores your email address so we can notify you at launch. We do not share this with third parties. You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@seryn.dev.

There are no analytics scripts, no tracking cookies, and no third-party services on this website. The site is a static build served by Cloudflare Pages.

App (Seryn for macOS)

Seryn reads your Things 3 database in read-only mode. It does not modify your Things data, create new tasks, or change any existing information.

The app has no network entitlement. It cannot connect to the internet, send data to servers, or communicate with external APIs. All analytics are computed locally on your Mac.

No telemetry, no crash reporting, no usage statistics, and no cloud sync. Seryn is completely offline.

Data export

You can export your analytics vault at any time using the built-in export feature. Data is stored in standard formats (CSV, JSON) that you can open with any application.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and notify waitlist subscribers. The last update was April 2026.
